for backward jumpstart. face backward(duh) and keep the back tip of the ski out of the water and hold a couple of loops in your hand. as boat goes hold handle down behind your knees, and look up at the horizon, drag the other foot as you take off in the water to give stability, get driver to take off as normal jumpstart but once up a bit slower than your normal slalom speed. keep looking at the horizon. once balanced put? your back foot back in the binding.. cheers good luck. Troy.

i think i go about 30mph but i have a wide ski ( connelly pilot)? which allows a bit slower stuff and way easy on backwards.. but you can still do all these tricks on a tournament slalom ski..

hey man im starting water? skiing, and im pretty good on 2 ski’s. I can barely slalom from kicking off 1 ski, any tips on starting off with one ski?

@WTFLEMME don’ look down, keep your eyes on the horizon. no matter what trick i am doing i always look for the horizon. oh and crash a lot… a real? lot, i reckon i would have crashed at least 300 times to get the forward flip.. best way to learn is to stuff it up.. u can learn so much from your mistakes, also a patient driver helps! cheers troy

@FernandaSVaretto hey bud.. i used to use a connely F44 craze (in this clip) but i gave it a fair? trashing over the years.. and upgraded to the connely Pilot.. also a brilliant ski, i like these because they are wide ski therefore a bit more forgiving on the million or so starts i do after crashing a lot trying stupid things.. cheers
